issues and Information Technology (IT) in Brazil &#8211; success stories, incentive policies and ways of engaging and attracting young people, especially women for IT-related careers. Organized in the form of presentations of articles, invited lectures and panels, the workshop is centered on debating issues related to women and their access to IT, both from the point of view of the labor market and of inclusion and digital literacy. The topics covered focus on the need to educate, recruit and train women, as a strategic policy for national and regional development and competitiveness.<\/p><p>The <strong>Digital Girls Forum<\/strong> has been part of the WIT activities since 2011 and is one of the actions of the SBC Digital Girls Program. This Program is aimed at elementary, high school and technological students, so that they can better understand the area of \u200b\u200bcomputing and Information and Communication Technologies, in order to motivate them to pursue a career in these areas.
